About the tour

Discover the best of Surrey’s drinks scene on our Surrey Hills Tour. Departing from Guildford (just over half an hour from London), you’ll spend the day exploring the beautiful Surrey Hills National Landscape, calling at a handpicked selection of local producers across wine, beer and gin.

We visit a vineyard, a brewery and a gin distillery, enjoying behind-the-scenes tours and guided tastings at each. From crisp English sparkling wine to classic ales and small-batch gins, you’ll experience a true taste of the region and meet the people behind the drinks.

We take care of the driving, so you can enjoy every tasting from start to finish. Your expert host will guide you through the day, sharing the stories behind the producers and what makes the Surrey Hills such a unique place for winemaking and craft drinks.

• Greyfriars Vineyard - enjoy award-winning sparkling and still wines overlooking the Surrey Hills.

• Tillingbourne Brewery - meet the owner and brewer at this hidden gem of a brewery.

• Distillers of Surrey - taste artisan, small-batch gin produced at this beautiful lakeside distillery.

A note on Saturday 12th September 2026

There will be a slight change to our itinerary on Saturday 12th September 2026. In place of Tillingbourne Brewery, we'll be visiting Albury Organic Vineyard - meaning this date becomes a rare wine and gin day tour. We think this makes for an extra special tour, as Albury Organic Vineyard is a beautiful estate with a wonderful ethos, producing some really exciting English wines.

Everything else remains the same - Greyfriars, Distillers of Surrey, gastropub lunch, and all the wonderful Surrey Hills views in between. The price and timings are unchanged.
